CLINICS AND WORKSHOPS

FOR ALL AGES!

Slapping/Speed & Agility Camp, Dec. 21, 2010

CALLING ALL SLAPPERS! Softball Connection invites you to come work out on the dirt with us!  Perfect your drag bunt, soft and hard slaps, as well as your power-game.  We'll talk about handling the bat and work on your footwork, so that you can get to first base as fast as possible. We have two of the best lefties in the game in Katie Schroeder (UCLA) and Jamia Reid (CAL) to help you with your approach towards owning your game, and your competition.

BONUS: EM, speed and agility training, will have their own station! So come ready to work!

DON'T MISS OUT! You will get better!

Defensive Skills Camp, Dec. 22, 2010

Also, please join us for our defensive skills camp on Dec 22!  Your techniques on the field have a huge impact on your marketability as a player.  Come learn the same "command presence" and fundamentals that are used by our players on the Worth Firecrackers that help them project "professionalism" as they go on to play at the college and national team levels.

Areas to be covered:

INFIELDERS: Proper technique to reduce errors, short, quick throws, as well as field generalship.
OUTFIELDERS: Come get a ton of reps and learn the proper mindset to prowling the grass.
CATCHERS: Jen Schroeder and Melissa Roth will teach you proper blocking, framing, and throwing techniques, as well as show athletes how to command their defenses.

Come learn how to create a physical presence and mindset that leads to great defensive play!

"If you never have been to one of Tony's workshops you are missing out. There were players at the workshop from 10U to signed players and everyone there got something to take back to the field and of course always a life lesson.  Can't wait for the next one !!!" (John Cookson)

"As always, what a great job at bringing the pieces together to give us all a better perspective on how the relationship between a pitcher and a catcher can influence your team's success"  (Krush Softball)
"As always, Tony did a fabulous job putting this together! What a great night for both pitchers and catchers. Getting to see Megan Langenfeld in action as well as listening to her speak - what a great person and a great athlete. It was also great listening to Jen talk from the catchers perspective..I'm sure every coach and player walked out of there tonight with a little something extra that they can build on."
